The ideal candidate should be a licensed hair stylist and have a passion for the beauty industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As an Assistant Salon Manager, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations and development of team members (hair stylists) and of our salon as well as assist in creating a positive and welcoming environment for both our clients and our hair stylists team members.

    * Stay updated on industry trends and share knowledge with the team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

    * A valid state cosmetology or barber license.
    * Previous leadership experience in a salon environment preferred.
    * Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    * Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
    * Knowledge of applicable beauty products sold in store.
    * Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
    * Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting the Store Manager with daily operations and team leadership
• Coaching and developing stylists to reach their full potential
• Ensuring outstanding client service and retail sales performance
• Helping with recruitment, hiring, and team training
• Maintaining high standards for store cleanliness and appearance
• Contributing to building a loyal client following in the New Hudson area

Requirements

• Leadership or management experience (salon/retail preferred)
• Active Michigan Cosmetology license required
• Energetic personality and strong people skills
• Goal-oriented with a team-player attitude
• Availability to work evenings and weekends

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay + service commissions + retail commissions
• Performance bonuses paid every pay period
