We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Salon Manager to join our Sport Clips team. The ideal candidate should be a licensed hair stylist and have a passion for the beauty industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As an Assistant Salon Manager, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations and development of team members (hair stylists) and of our salon as well as assist in creating a positive and welcoming environment for both our clients and our hair stylists team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    * Assist in the overall management and supervision of salon operations.
    * Provide guidance, support and development to hair stylists and coordinators.
    * Ensure exceptional customer service and client satisfaction.
    * Assist in recruiting, training, and onboarding new team members.
    * Collaborate with the Salon Manager to achieve revenue and sales goals.
    * Stay updated on industry trends and share knowledge with the team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

    * A valid state cosmetology or barber license.
    * Previous leadership experience in a salon environment preferred.
    * Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    * Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
    * Knowledge of applicable beauty products sold in store.
    * Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
    * Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends.

Sport Clips is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Salon Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our salon during our busy times. If you have a passion for the beauty industry, excellent organizational skills, and a friendly demeanor, we invite you to apply for this exciting position. The main hours will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and may change during holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

        * Greet clients with a warm and welcoming attitude, ensuring they have a positive experience from the moment they walk in.
    * Answer phone calls and address client inquiries promptly and professionally.
    * Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including retail displays.
    * Handle financial transactions, including cash handling and processing credit card payments.
    * Assist in retail sales by providing product knowledge and recommendations to clients.
    * Monitor and maintain salon inventory, placing orders for supplies as needed.
    * Collaborate with the salon team to ensure a smooth flow of operations from the reception          area to the cutting floor.
    * Complete secondary responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager, such as vacuuming, cleaning stations, prepping stations, laundry, sanitation, and stocking.
    * Assist in marketing efforts, including local neighborhood marketing, social media updates, and promotions.
    * Participate in Sport Clips training.

Qualifications:

    * Previous experience in customer service, receptionist, front desk, or salon coordination is preferred but not required.
    * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    * Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    * Proficiency in computer applications, Microsoft Office, and basic social media platforms.
    * Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
    * A friendly and professional demeanor with a passion for the beauty industry.
