This position is ideal for someone currently enrolled in cosmetology or barber school, or for licensed professionals looking to grow in the beauty industry.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and create a welcoming experience
• Answer phones and assist with scheduling and client questions
• Support front desk operations and process payments
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area
• Assist with retail sales and product recommendations
• Help with salon cleanliness, laundry, sanitation, and stocking
• Support local marketing and social media efforts
• Work closely with the salon team to keep operations running smoothly

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in cosmetology or barber school OR hold an active cosmetology/barber license
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Organized and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, professional, team-oriented attitude
• Basic computer and social media skills

Sport Clips Haircuts in Conway (Market Place) is now hiring an Assistant Salon Manager to support daily salon operations, lead a high-performing team, and deliver an exceptional client experience. This role is perfect for an experienced licensed hair stylist, barber, or cosmetologist ready to grow their leadership career while still doing what they love: cutting hair.

What You’ll Do

• Support salon leadership with daily operations and team coordination
• Coach and develop stylists to deliver a consistent MVP client experience
• Assist with scheduling, opening/closing duties, and salon standards
• Provide high-quality men’s haircuts and grooming services
• Help foster a positive, welcoming, and team-focused salon culture

What We’re Looking For

• Active AR Cosmetology or Barber License
• Experience as a hair stylist or barber (men’s cutting preferred)
• Previous salon leadership or team lead experience preferred (but not required)
• Passion for customer service and team development
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed

Qualifications: 

•          A valid Arkansas cosmetology or barber license
