"The response to my Huddle presentation has been truly overwhelming in the best way," Tina said. "I have received a tremendous number of messages from team members across the company sharing how my story inspired them and touched their hearts."
Many shared they saw themselves in her journey.
Some related to overcoming adversity. Others connected with the feelings of self-doubt, career setbacks, or simply trying to figure out where they belonged. While every story was different, the message was the same.

"What has meant the most to me is hearing that people walked away believing that their current circumstances don't have to define their future," Tina said. "If my story encouraged even one person to keep chasing their dreams, then every vulnerable moment I shared was worth it."
The Part of the Story She Didn't Tell

"At the time, it felt like the end of my journey," she said. "But looking back, it became one of the most defining moments of my career. I had a choice: let that setback define me or use it as motivation to grow. I chose growth."

Looking back on more nearly two decades with Sport Clips, Tina says she now sees failure differently.
"Over the last 16 years with Sport Clips, I've learned that failure isn't the opposite of success. It's often the path that leads you there."
Every disappointment became an opportunity to improve her technical skills, strengthen her leadership, and become a better coach and mentor for others. Instead of allowing difficult moments to become permanent roadblocks, she used them as stepping stones.
Those experiences ultimately led her from Stylist to Area Coach to Artistic Team Member, and eventually to the National Huddle Main Stage.
Dream Bigger Than Your Circumstances
If Tina hopes attendees remember one thing from her presentation, it isn't simply that she overcame adversity. It's that no one's beginning determines where their story ends.
"Your dream doesn't have to have a perfect beginning," she said. "It just requires you to keep showing up, keep learning, and keep believing in yourself, even when life tells you otherwise."
She also challenged Team Members to think beyond the limits they sometimes place on themselves.
"There is no point in dreaming if you don't dream big."
Perhaps the most powerful lesson she shared was that the chapters people are often most tempted to hide are ones to shine a light on.
"Sometimes the chapters we're most ashamed of become the ones that inspire someone else to keep going."
