... A Story of Strength, Creativity, and Showing What’s Possible
When Tina LoPresti steps onto the main stage at the 2026 Sport Clips National Huddle in Louisville, Kentucky, in April, she won’t just be sharing professional insights. She’ll be sharing a journey that proves how powerful perseverance, creativity, and community can be.
Tina’s story begins in Illinois, where she grew up before eventually moving away in her 30s. For a time, she lived in Arizona, but life had other plans. A family member in need changed her path and ultimately led her to Missouri, where she now calls O’Fallon home. Through every twist, this constant remained: the people around her who believed in her and the determination she carried within herself.
Early on, Tina knew beauty school was where she belonged. She could put lipstick on like a pro by age three, and as she grew up, she was determined to pursue cosmetology. But there were obstacles along the way. During her education, a very personal and unplanned event altered her future.
But Tina rebounded and refused to let those challenges define her.
In cosmetology, she "found her tribe" and became captivated by it. She studied everything she could: chemistry, geometry, and the technical foundations of hair. As instructors began to see her dedication and creativity, they recognized something special. Tina found her calling, especially in the artistic side of the profession. The ability to transform someone’s look and confidence through hair energized her and fueled her determination to keep moving forward.
Sport Clips entered Tina’s life unexpectedly. What began as a backup plan soon turned into something much more meaningful.
An instructor introduced her to the company, and she decided to give it a chance. She had rocky starts and stops as a Team Member. During that time, another personal tragedy struck. But after what she calls "trials and tribulations," she found her stride...literally.
Her story will unfold on the main stage at National Huddle, where she'll share more about how deeply she believes in the power of teams and what's possible when you lock arms and put in the work...dreams can be bigger than your circumstances.
And if anyone doubts that message, all they have to do is listen to her story. Come back in early May for a follow-up on Tina’s Huddle presentation!
