Salon Store Manager – Sport Clips Haircuts (New Store Opening)

Full-Time | Leadership Role | Hands-On Manager

Sport Clips Haircuts of Monrovia is hiring a Salon Store Manager to lead the opening and long-term success of a brand-new location.

Location: Huntington Oaks Shopping Center - 668 W. Huntington Dr., Monrovia, CA 91016

Compensation: $45,000–$80,000 annually (salary, performance incentives, tips)

Schedule: Full-time, flexible scheduling including weekends

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salon Manager / Store Manager to oversee daily operations, build and develop a new salon team, and deliver an exceptional guest experience in a high-volume environment.

This is a hands-on leadership position where the Store Manager will work behind the chair while managing hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance. This role is ideal for an experienced stylist-leader ready to take full ownership of a new store.

Key Responsibilities

*Recruit, hire, onboard, and train a brand-new team of licensed stylists

*Manage salon operations including scheduling, productivity, labor control, and guest flow

*Coach, develop, and retain stylists through hands-on leadership and performance feedback

*Set expectations, hold team members accountable, and reinforce brand standards

*Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service and guest experience

*Remain actively behind the chair while leading the team

*Partner with ownership to achieve business and performance goals

Required Qualifications

*Active California cosmetology or barber license

*5+ years of experience working in a salon environment

*3+ years of experience managing or leading a salon team, including hiring, scheduling, training, and coaching

*Proven ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams

*Strong knowledge of salon operations, guest experience, and productivity management

*Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume salon environment

*Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

*Professional, dependable, and results-driven mindset
