Sport Clips Haircuts of University City is hiring a Salon Manager to lead a high-performing men’s and boys’ hair salon. This role is ideal for a licensed cosmetologist or barber who enjoys hair cutting, coaching teams, managing salon operations, and delivering a consistent, high-quality customer experience.

As Salon Manager, you will oversee daily operations, support and develop stylists, and create a positive, team-focused salon culture while running the business with confidence and integrity. You’ll be the heartbeat of a team dedicated to building a massive, loyal clientele but more importantly with drive and leadership.

Compensation

Managers typically earn between $28–$36 ($56,000 @ 40 hrs/wk) per hour (base pay, tips, and performance bonuses & incentives included), with upside potential as the salon grows.

Salon Manager Requirements

* Active Missouri cosmetology or barber license
* Proven salon leadership experience preferred, including salon, spa, retail, or store management—Sport Clips management background preferred
* Strong leadership, interpersonal, & communication skills with the ability to multitask and manage attention to detail 
* A passion for providing exceptional haircuts to clients
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment along with flexibility to include evenings and weekends

Our team is dedicated to exceptional customer service and building up a large client base. The ideal candidate for this role preferably has Sport Clips experience. At Sport Clips, we provide ongoing training to our hair stylists and barbers so they can stay up to date on the latest haircut trends.
